John D. Krumboltz, PhD (d. 2019), was a Professor of Education and Psychology at Stanford University (Stanford, CA). He was a specialist in counseling psychology and a leader in the theory of career counseling. Dr. Krumboltz's research traced the roots of academic, career, and personal problems, as well as studying the emotional outcomes of learning experiences, and the use of multimedia in simulating occupational activities.
