Robert K. Gable is the Director of Research and a Professor in the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program at Johnson & Wales University in Providence RI. He also is the Director of the Center for Research and Evaluation in the College of Arts & Sciences. He previously taught research methods, affective instrument development and survey methodology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He served as the Director of Research for the Leadership Research Institute consulting firm. He has co-published a textbook entitled Instrument Development in the Affective Domain: School and Corporate Applications (3rd ed.), co-authored the School Situation Survey, the Class Climate Survey, the Postpartum Depression Screening Scale, and several journal articles on affective instrument development.
